Good Morning friends, yogis, countrymen! Lend me your mats!

I’m feeling pretty good today, I should have gotten out of bed a bit earlier, but it was SO dang cozy in bed. I’m going to try to go around 7:30 each morning- (yeah I’m not sure I can even say that with a straight face lol..) It’s going to be tough but that’s going to be the best shot of me not running into anyone while I practice.

I felt good today.

I opened the door to the van and it was SNOWING! Snow activates all of my stored kid energy, everything is so bright fresh and crisp. I just stood there for a minute and let the flakes fall on my tongue and eyelashes,

It was perfect.

Today’s class was taught by Fiji, who does NOT mess around on the mat, but it was only 20 minutes, so I got myself hyped up and just got on with it.

I felt strong. My balance was good. (Well for me, it was good.) And I didn’t really feel much soreness. I think that yesterday’s class with all the footwork really helped with that. I’ve considered stopping the exact 30 day program a few times now, and maybe only doing shorter classes, in order to not get walked in on, and to not aggravate anyone here on site, but if I can keep up with the Intermediate 30 Day Challenge as is was designed, I think it’ll have some really awesome benefits for my body.

Tomorrow I may try another (colder but possibly less foot traffic) spot. I’ve just got to take it day by day and see what can be done. Fingers crossed for me that I can keep going! I really want to!

I took Shavasana in the little shower area with the legs up the wall like in the photo from yesterday’s post, to mitigate my time in the main area. I really don’t want anyone walking in to see what looks like a girl passed out on the floor. I took a few deep breaths - decided to pop up, wash my face, and get going!

Oh also, It’s supposed to snow all weekend. YAY!!!
