I’m going to be honest with you. This morning I woke up in a state. I’m pretty sure I made the stars of Night Of The Living Dead, look like The Rockettes by comparison.

I was tired, running on barely any sleep, my body hurt, my head was hazy. I was feeling pretty annoyed and I really wasn’t in the mood for a bright and peppy yoga instructor to tell me to clear out my chakras and get moving.
Today I’m thankful that this morning I was more stubborn than I was annoyed because there was no way I was quitting on Day 2. Last night I packed all my little things that I bring down to the bathroom area where I do yoga (gotta chase that heat in the winter friends).
Water bottle.. check.
Wireless headphones.. check.
Slippers
Mat
Face Wash
check check check.
I had a feeling Saturday Morning Dayle wouldn’t have much of a spring in her step so I’m glad all I had to do was slip on my shoes grab my smart-media-totebag (WINK WINK!). If you're as useless as I am in the mornings, I'd definitely consider doing as much morning prep as you can so you can get onto the mat before your brain kicks in to try to convince you not to.
This class was AWESOME. It was just enough without being too much. The instructor was upbeat without making this already cranky jersey-girl more annoyed. There were some awesome stretches, big deep expansive breathing in poses that really opened up my chest back and arms and vinyasas sprinkled throughout that got my body temp up and blood flowing.

Nothing. But it was a welcome nothingness. Quiet. I laid in silence with my hand on my heart, focusing on the beats of my heart. I was overwhelmed with thankfulness that it has never, in 29.768296 years has it taken a break. Even once. Thank you heart…. also, thank you Gyosco.pe for all the data a nerd like me could ever hope to know about myself (and then some!).
