OK, I messed up. I TOTALLY gapped meditation yesterday. Just went completely by the way side and what’s more, I didn’t even notice until this morning… OOPS!

SO that’s two meditations for me today in order to catch up. This morning I had a lovely yoga session outside in the sun. I was wearing shorts.
I REPEAT.
I WAS WEARING SHORTS AND IT WASN’T RAINING.— if that’s not worth a hallelujah I don’t know what is.

On day one of FOCUS we took a look at the things that cause us distraction, the things the interrupt us, and hinder us from dialing in. Todays class started with a quote I absolutely LOVED.
“When we allow ourselves to be distracted, we’re giving things of low importance undue attention and priority.”
Aah so that’s it. Maybe I don’t have a focus problem as much as I think I do. Maybe I have a identification of priorities problem.— That makes a bit more sense for me, because typically when I get into something I’m full on deep dive laser beams! So then, the goal now becomes, how do I best identify what’s important, what to work on, and in what order.

I realized that I haven’t had my trusty listy sketchy brain dump notebook near me for a few days. So we’re back to early morning list making… and trying to be conscious of the things that pull me away from the important things I’ve identified so that I can remove those pain point, and allow my brain to have an easier day.
One thing at a time.
If I know I’ve written down everything that’s important, that it’s being stored safe and sound in my trusty notebook, it fees my brain up to not have to hold on to it anymore, that way I can devote all my processing power to the task at hand.

That’s the strategy today! Wish me luck!
Also, What are your focus hacks? Let me know below, I’m always up for new stratefies to help me get the most out of my day <3
I hope you’re well, happy, fed and warm today!
