Greetings Blockchain warriors! This morning we woke a bit later than we intended to, but hey, rules were made for breaking, and alarms were made for ignoring. We hit snooze twice, got up, got dressed and made a quick trip down to the shop to get, eggs, bits for lunch, and some cucumber and science-crab sticks for sushi rolls later tonight.
Now if only we had THIS bad boy!
A lot of the hectic-ness of work from last week has seemed to slow down. One of my larger design clients is traveling at the moment, and I’ve gotten some awesome feedback from my Voice Over client about our last round of kids books, but they have a few bits that need adding in, so they asked me to re record.
It's not a problem as they really don’t take too long and I do enjoy the work. In fact the other night when I was recording, I made the mistake of not having read the book before hand. It’s usually not a big deal because the titles I work with are super simplistic, written for young children just learning how to read.
I’m not sure if it was a combination of exhaustion, or stress relief or what, but when I got to the last page, I absolutely busted out laughing. So hard in fact that @teamhumble heard me through the wall and started laughing at my laughing which then of course totally set me off. I must have sounded like a mad-woman, and it is a bit ridiculous if you think about it, having to sustain a hyper-excited but also slow paced cadence, while reading a poem about finding a bug on a branch.
So I thought I’d share a few laughs in audio form to send you smiling into your respective Tuesdays. Maybe this post was also a bit of a self hack to get me in the headspace to get back in to re record these few lines when part of me just wants to get back into bed with a film. Either way, ONWARD!
