Super special thank you to @karensuestudios who shared this tutorial on her blog earlier this week! I love how we share projects and ideas in this community, and I knew I wanted to make this scarf as soon as I saw Karen demo it. And here we are!
Talk about full circle! Quite literally because it’s an infinity scarf- get it!??! GET IT!!!!?!

I’m not going to give you the Instagram-perfect version of this project, because in reality it took me about 3 full tries to do. But even with all its imperfections I LOVE the way it came out, and I’m dying to get my hands on even more (even chunkier) yarn before the year is out.
It really wasn’t very hard at all, and I have to say, having experience knitting with needles, I don’t think I’ll ever go back. Arm knitting is faster, easier to control and way more fun in my opinion. Since my yarn was a little on the thin side, I cast on 10 loops instead of 8 so that I could get a bit of extra thickness.
My model, and untangling assistant Ella… or Bella, or Chella, or Mini-Mouser... She helped me keep my strands straight and was in charge of yarn ball management while we watched nail art videos on YouTube...
Yes she every bit as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. And every lovely thing @teamhumble writes about her is 100% true.
UGH THAT FACEE!!!! <3 The trickiest part BY FAR is casting off, and I really had no idea how to join the two ends, but I had that bit of thread that I allocated at the beginning so I just kinda haphazardly threaded it through.
Sure it’s not perfect, in fact, it's a bit of a hot mess, but the coziness levels are off the charts and I LOVE the color. I can't wait to have another go at it. I sent the little one on her way this morning with huge hugs and a bit of handmade love to keep her warm as she plays in the snow today, and I'm already planning the next one...
It was so fun to have a little photoshoot in the snow bright and early this morning. I was so excited to shared these shots with you that I haven't even posted my morning yogachallenge post yet!
I hope you enjoyed our bit of cozy winter wonderland, and if you decide to give this project a try and have any questions I'd be happy to help answer them!
<3 A warm-necked,
Dayleeo
