Today, I woke up later than usual, (5:30 am) lol- small victories right? I also woke up to about 15 messages from 3 different team members from a client in Taiwan.

I’m giving myself a set time to write this post because they’ve got a laundry list of things for me to do, and while I’m thankful for the hours- today’s is Grandmas (or Nonna’s) 90th Birthday celebration. It's the first time I'll be seeing any of my family (becides dad) since I've been in the UK. Looking forward to giving Grandma a big hug <3.

there's a lot rattling my brain this morning, if you can't tell already...

I’ve got just under 4 hours before it’s down tools and I start to get ready to head out for that. It’s the first time I’ll be operating a motor vehicle in 6 months, which is kind of mad if youthiuk about it. But I feel good today. Rested and alert.

Oh man, so much to tell you but as I said, set amount of time! SO here are the main bits, presented to you in no particular order as they fall out of my brain and hit the keyboard by way of my frantic fingers.

Even though I woke up feeling behind I promised myself I’d do yoga and I’d blog before I did anything else.

Today’s class from DoYogaWithMe ALWAYS kicks my ass, but it’s a full body workout in 20 minutes- the heart rate was UP let me tell you- but no so frantic that it’s not good for early morning. I believe it’s tai-chi inspired at parts, and this one inpoarticular leaves me feeling just as chill and grounded as it does energized. What Im saying. is its just as nice before bed.

Also, I’ve been on an interesting journey with a new yoga mat, I havent formed enough of an opinion to write a full post for you about it but in short, I think the one I ordered will be going back, new one arrives tomorrow and I’ll make a call- some folks may see it as a hassle with all the back and forth but I’m learning a LOT and I certainly have a lot of tips now about how best to choose a yoga mat that fits your needs!

It's the only piece of workout equiptment I use, and I dont have a gym membership- so i think it's worth investing some time and money into.
