Please don’t think I’m a weirdo or anything but I noticed you from across the bar, and I had to tell you that your t-shirt is so freaking awesome, Moles playing Whack-a Mole tho? LOL Kinda dark, I like it.
Oh me? Yeah, my evening’s been kinda boring if I'm honest. YouTube videos, email checks, social checks, lots of time with my laptop and some pillows in bed. I guess I needed it after the madness today brought, clients rushing to get things out the door before a big storm, dozens of different strands all running in different directions, all pulling at my attentions.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d choose this life over the 9-5 any day, in any lifetime, in any dimension. I know I wasn’t build to sit in a cubicle and push a button all day. I dread water cooler talk and I’m really not fussed about what happened on Game Of Thrones last night. I got tired a long time ago of bosses and managers who would use my ideas for their benefit, and being told to just take my weekly pay and go home.
So here I am, a creative, who’s passionate about their work and who doesn’t mind a little chaos now and then, if it means freedom to work, travel and live the life I want, a life that will truly make me happy one day. That’s really all we can ask for isn’t it? Plus the chaos and transition gives me energy, always had. Maybe it goes back to my Italian Gypsy/Pirate roots. Grandma sure knows how to spin a tale…
Anyway, back to you! I can tell you’ve got something to say, if I do say so myself. Stories that haven’t been written, films not made, adventures not had. I hope you don’t think I’m overstepping stranger, but I’ve got a good feeling about you. Somehow I get this sense that you always get to where you need to be right when you need to be there.
Yep, you’re the type to make it to the train platform 5 minutes late on the only day of the year when the train happened to be running behind by 10 minutes. TimeLord problems/perks. I get it ;) Simultaneously in sync and out of sync. I’ve been there, rather, I am there still!
Well, I’ll quit talking your ear off, I hope you have a nice evening, I’m not in this sector of the galaxy often, but damn you really can’t beat the view. Somehow, I have a feeling I’ll be back very soon.
Oh, also! The Romulan Vodka Gimlet is to die for at this bar btw. Highly recommend.
