Really enjoyed watching You’ve Got Mail with ya tonight, even if it was remotely, it definitely felt odd at parts, like I was watching parts of my life unfold and acted out by Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks.

I couldn’t believe how many really specific places I recognized from dog walking last year, and of course the obvious bit about digital correspondence. Although, I feel like if you and I had spent that much time emailing, I’d FOR SURE know it was you as soon as I first saw you. No chance I wouldn’t.

I felt like today was a little fragmented and disjointed work-wise, toggling my body’s go-go-go!!!-work week energy, with the rest of the world’s holiday energy. I’m sure labor day is really important and meaningful to some people, but not for me so I’m looking forward to having a proper crush mode day tomorrow. YAS TUESDAY YAS!
This evening's Trek &a Chill features Tuvix and I'm LIVING. Half logic ruled Vulcan and half Cook/Morale Officer Telaxian?? It all makes sense- contradictions colliding in a single organism ;).
Aside from that - it was a super compelling episode with some serious moral and ethical questions, you were right the writing is getting really damn good! One of the things I love about Trek is sometimes those moral questions just go unanswered, sometimes there's no happily ever after, and the episode forces a mirror in your face and opens up a dialogue. All while making you smile at the little things...
Damn, storytelling is powerful. I'm glad that's what we've chosen as trades. I feel like we're pretty damn good at it, and we have the passion to use our voices to talk about the right things, instead of using them for vanity sake. Couldn't be more happy about your video going out into the world and into the blockchain today love. Pieces like that remind me why we do what we do as creatives. Relay stations making connections, telling stories and rerouting apathy modules.
Here I go getting all mystical with my words but just consider it another knock on effect of Making, that ripple that turns into a tidal wave, and since it effectively traveled 3,000 miles to get to me, we should expect nothing less. ;)
I have an inkling that you’re sleeping like a rock, which I’ll be so thankful for if you’re able to confirm my hunch when I join you in the land of the living. So up with you! There are eggs to be made, coffees to be consumed, words to type and most importantly, stories to be told.
