Just finished my first proper post in nearly a week and now I’m in chill down mode. And by chill down mode I mean NOW my computer’s screen is in night mode and I’m slightly more slumped down with my computer on my tummy writing to you. <3
It’s become an important end cap to my night, writing your welcome into the world. I don’t take it lightly, and the day doesn’t feel complete until I’ve done it.
So dad came home with a menu from a Vegan Chinese spot right here in town! Who would have guessed?! It’s called the “Natural Way Cafe” he asked me if I’d try it with him. Bless, he really is trying in his own way. Still coming home with the Ben & Jerry’s, but this week one of the ice creams was coconut milk haha! I don’t think he’ll ever quit eggs and that’s fine by me. Really don’t need for folks to do things “my” way. I’m just glad he’s open to making little substitutions here and there.
The evening has been pretty chill, a bit of dinner and youtube. So enjoyed that film Antitrust. The kinda movie where you feel really “IN” it after it's over. Thoughts and ideas swirling. Kinda why I think I was able to break out of my writing blankness and get some articulate thoughts out on to the blockchain this evening. Must have needed it! Either way, super enjoyed. Another awesome pick. Would love to talk films in our podcast on day, both of us having a background in video, and using that as a storytelling medium oursleves. Think it could be interesting over some wines. But then again, most things with us end up interesting over wines. ;)
That reminds me! Mr Robot’s got to be coming up soon no? I gotta check up on that.
Also, just saw that strawberry drink you tagged me in… DAMN. My mouth was watering something fierce. I think a walk to the farmer’s market is in order if I can get a bit of sun out of the afternoon. I haven’t checked the weather yet but this chilly gloomy rainy stuff had me pretty bundled up! If it keeps dropping like this we’re going to have to take the A/C unit out of the window real soon. Damn!
