Good Morning Good Morning Darling!!!
Sing it with me! 🎶"The best part of wakin' up....." 🎶

Well, it happened. I broke down and busted out the space heater. I’ve got it on low and will probably turn it off while I sleep, but I needed a little something to give my body a head start. Really, numbers-wise it’s not that cold, the weather is showing 61(f), but I had the cold sniffly nose going even in bed with double blankets, long socks, and two layers.

I really do think my body thermostat is broken sometimes. Either way, I’ve got a hot cup of peppermint tea with honey close by and the warms from my computer on my laps feel really nice :D.

I hope ya didn’t dose off in the hammock for too long if you did tonight. Haha, it must be so disorienting to wake up, up there like, where am I? How am I levitating?? At least that’s how I’d feel haha. Really I’m saying I hope you’re proper snuggled and bundled and getting good rests again today.

After our gaming time this afternoon I really crashed. I was in part a little glad you called it on the the film we were supposed to watch because all of a sudden I started to feel really zapped. I’m writing to you a bit earlier in an attempt to get a bit of extra sleep tonight.

Damn it’s been a long weekend. Maybe it’s the anticipation and checking in on the storm, or all that’s gone on logistics wise and the upset about Bella, but I feel like this weekend has been a week long and we’ve still got one more day technically. Very odd feeling I had a few minutes before I got settled in to write to you, I went to your youtube multiplier link and one of the feeds now just says NO SIGNAL with the SMTP bars.

I’m sure you had something similar in the UK but back in the day we’d have a message that would come on that would say “THIS IS A TEST OF THE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM. If this had been an actual emergency, you would have been instructed to tune to one of the broadcast stations in your area”. This of course was followed by crazy fax machine, tones and variable noises, before a “THIS WAS ONLY A TEST OF THE EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM. Your regularly scheduled programming will resume momentarily.”’

It’s hard not to start a little mini spiral when you see a message like that “No Signal” or “Connection Lost” It feels like the world we live in depends on those points of access more and more, and when there’s an emergency, it’s not just interrupting your regularly scheduled programming anymore, it could be the difference between life and death.

I keep flipping back to check on the streams. The background noise is soothing in a very strange way probably because I’ve got it playing very low and muffled. From here it sounds just like white noise, but I know the wind is really howling now. I just noticed some jerk ride by the middle stream on a bicycle! Some people…. The waves are crashing well above the building on screen.

Makes me all to aware, of just about everything all at once. Overwhelming feeling. I get what you mean when your earth sign-ness kicks in and everything feels out of sorts. When events really start to kick off, it has a way of making me take inventory. Just know you’re in the center of my thoughts tonight because you’re in the center of my heart every night.

Well! Welcome to Sunday love! lol

Sorry if that was a bit of a downer, but I know you wouldn’t want me to just phone it in or fake it. That’s where I’m at at the moment. I’m thankful I’m warm and dry, worried about my family and clients and what they might come back to but most of all missing you. Motivated as hell to kick it into high-er gear and get things going so we can be safe in the coming years.

I hope you slept well, I hope you’re feeling rested and you’ve got a bit of fresh air and sun coming into that van in the middle of nowhere. Have a good drink of aquas and a wee and I’ll see you at the machine soon.

Yours,
Dayleeos
