I've written an in-depth review of this app before, but I think this is definitely an app that deserves to be on @steemhunt.
Buycott allows you to scan products in-store and instantly learn if the manufacturer or it's parent companies are contributing to practices that don't align with your values.
At a glance it allows you to see if a product's company engages in animal cruelty, unfair wages for women in minorities and practices that are ecologically harmful to the earth.
It also suggests alternative comparable products and allows you to tweet said company about why they've lost your business.
Super powerful stuff- I hope you give it a try!
